Long-Time Private Investigator Sentenced for Practice of Making Impersonating Pretext Phone Calls

What this licensed PI did, doesn’t make much sense. Mostly from the integrity side of things. Being in this profession, investigating fraud, cheating, lies and deception, he had to have known this was wrong and just not right. But he did this anyways, and I think because he thought he was above the law and needed to get the upper hand by, cheating. The punishment doesn’t fit the crime, but that’s just me. I would have liked have seen a harsher sentence, mostly because he was a licensed investigator and he should be held to a higher standard. Make an example out of him, I’m sure he’s not the only one.

When you’re out hiring an investigator to investigate potential wrongdoing, make sure your investigator is not conducting his own wrongdoings.
